Red lips are classic lips. Wearing red lipstick for prom is a way for you to make a bold statement without trying to hard. Red lips can go either way; you can either ware them with a lot of make up, but usually when you wear red lipstick you barely need to apply any other make-up. To achieve the perfect red lips, first line your lips with a neutral shade. This way you can perfect the shape of your mouth while still looking natural. Make sure you choose the right red for your lips. If your skin is fair, pick a bright fire engine red; if you have a dark complexion, pick a warm brownish red. Remember to blot your lips, by blotting your lips; you will get rid of the excess lipstick. Then you can reapply your lipstick, for a long lasting wear.
Tip: If you use a brush to fill in your lips, it will help your color stay on better.
